Welcome

Thank you for your interest in RSPCA Assured, and in this role. It's one of the most important jobs in the organisation, and I’m very much looking forward to meeting some impressive candidates.

Our Transformation Programme is deliberately ambitious, and we recognise that it will be a significant piece of work. Commencing in December 2021, it will run until 2023, with the highest priority areas (Standards Review and Board governance analysis) in the first phase.

Your part will be to drive forward all the various strands of the programme to ensure that steady momentum is maintained. Sometimes that’s going to be about reporting the view from the bridge, while other days will be spent in the engine room – but the golden thread connecting the two will be our commitment to a world where farm animal welfare is steadily improving, and in which more and more farmers and consumers share our assessment of what ‘better’ looks like.

I would like to hear from candidates who can work independently, lead project teams, and contribute to the senior team. You’ll be joining a major animal welfare organisation, where your work and talent will have an impact on a national level. And as a close colleague of mine, with significant Board exposure, success in this role will be a very significant addition to your CV.

Yours sincerely

Clive Brazier
